COVER TO COVER

Discover how to fill books with exciting prints from cover to cover!

A self-paced course exploring a range of creative artists’ books.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

In this two part course I will show you how to fill books with exciting prints from cover to cover, these will be works of art in their own right, as well as a valuable studio resources. The course includes how to make a range of artists books like the ones I taught during lockdown, you can see examples of those here.

The course is self-paced, that means you can buy it and do it at a time that is convenient to you, and you get lifetime access. Although I teach a range of methods associated with the craft, this is not a book binding course. There is no sewing or stitching, but plenty of folding, cutting and gluing! It is also not a sketchbook or journaling course (the best sketchbook course is taught by Karen Stamper).

With over 20 detailed examples, you will learn how to fill….

  • concertina books
  • bound books; codex and stab bound
  • spiral bound books

The course is divided into two sections, with a total of 11.5 hours of video instruction. You can enrol on section individually (scroll down for more info) or buy both together with a 10% discount.

Testimonials

“I don’t ever remember revisiting online workshops with the frequency that I’ve done with Cover to Cover. Every time I do that, I pick up on another gem that I hadn’t fully taken on board the first time around. You are without doubt the most generous teacher I have ever had. There seems to be no end to the amount of effort you put into teaching and supporting your students. It certainly makes the whole experience incredibly fulfilling and I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying your courses”
