I will show you how to create a series of original prints from start to finish by creating four types of plate using easily accessible materials.

Who is it aimed at?

It is designed for the complete beginner or anyone wanting a refresher. This course is the perfect preparation course to take before going on to Part 2 of my COMPLETE CREATIVE COLLAGRAPHY

Please note: you will need a press to do this course, either an etching press or a die cutting machine.

On enrolment you will receive access to videos to help you gather your supplies and set up your workspace. During the LIVE lessons I will show you how to set up your press and create a series of plates using papers, fabric and acrylic media. You will also learn how to create reductive plates and dry point techniques. You will not be making during the lessons, just watching and asking questions. Each Zoom lesson will include demonstrations and Q&A, and all Zoom lessons will be recorded.

At the end of the course you will have LIFETIME access the course content and recordings, plus you will be invited to join my Print & Paper Forum where you can continue to get support from myself and other members.

GROUP A. FRIDAYS  5pm (BST) 10th, 17th and 24th MAY

GROUP B. SATURDAYS 10 am (BST) 11th, 18th and 25th MAY

There will be TWO groups with a maximum of 20 students in each group. When you enrol choose the group that best suits your time zone! You cannot mix and match.

On enrolment you will get access to a webpage with useful information to help you prepare for the course.

On the 4th MAY you will get access to the course platform where you will find some videos to watch and other useful information.

What will I need?

You will need a press to do this course. This can be a regular etching press or a craft die cutting machine.

WHEN DOES THIS COURSE START?

This course will be scheduled to run over 7 days and includes 3 live zoom lessons.

IS THERE TUTOR INTERACTION

As well as the zoom meetings I will be on the course forum DAILY to answer questions.

CAN I PAY IN ANY CURRENCY?

Of course! The payment is set in GDP as I am in the UK but when you pay it will convert to your own currency.

Payments are made via Stripe, a safe and secure payment platform, using a debit or credit card.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE COURSE?

You will be asked to register on the teaching platform Ruzuku. That is where the course content lives.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

The course is based on a three day workshop. In addition to attending the lessons expect to spend 10 – 15 hrs creating plates and prints.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT?

The classes are delivered via the online platform Ruzuku.

WHAT INTERNET CONNECTION WILL I NEED?

To get the most out of the class you need to have a high speed internet connection and newer computer or mobile device that is equipped to stream video off of the internet.

WHAT LEVEL ARE THE COURSES?

These classes on this course are suitable for beginners or anyone who has an interest in learning more.

DO I NEED ALL OF THE SUPPLIES?

No, I encourage you to work with what you have and adapt the classes to suit your needs. I am all for mixing things up and experimenting with materials! But you will need a press.

IS THERE AN ONLINE COMMUNITY?

Yes, you can share your work if you wish to do so and see the work by other students on an online forum.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
